I agree, and suggest he begin with the lighting. We need to find a way to properly attach the string of LEDs to illuminate the sign. The problem of the stuck left drawer also needs to be addressed rather urgently, I believe. And the flooring needs to leveled out again (before I fall and break my neck).
Otherwise, surprisingly, the old theater is in pretty decent shape for the upcoming Spring season. And it will need to be for the outdoor park performances in Fort. Tryon.
The theater is a much better venue today than when I was first working it, that's for sure. When Mr. Widdle rolled out the Suitcase of Wonders in 2005 (after months of development and construction), it had no lighting, sound system, or a proper front curtain. And there was that dangerous trap door in the first version of the theater, the one for the Vanishing Elephant. Thank goodness I changed the method in that effect (for the sake of both myself and the elephant).
